The Burl Audio B1D is a single-channel 500 series mic pre with a discrete class-a input circuit, bx3 input transformer, and bx4 iron output transformer.
It features independent gain and level controls, stepped gain control up to 70 db of gain, lo-z for low-impedance sources, pad for -30 db signal reduction, +48v phantom power, polarity reverse, and a tri-colored led indicator. The front-panel 1/4" input is suitable for di recording with guitars, keyboards, drum machines, and more. It is designed to complement the b2 bomber adc and b80 mothership.
