The BURNDY W Die, BG Index, is crafted from stainless steel to ensure durability and reliable performance during crimping operations. It is compatible with various crimping tools including MD6, MD7 Mechanical, Y500CTHS Hydraulic, PAT600, and PATMD Battery Actuated Crimpers.
This die features a circumferential crimp design and is rated for a 6-ton crimp force capacity. It supports crimping ranges for copper cables from #6 AWG up to 4/0 AWG, aluminum cables from #6 AWG to 1/0 AWG, and ACSR cables from #6 AWG to 1/0 AWG.
