This variable neutral density viewing filter offers a 1 to 9-stop density range from 0.3 to 2.7, allowing previsualization of exposure based on lighting conditions. It compresses contrast to mimic color film or digital sensors, helping approximate lighting ratios and understand shadow and highlight appearance.
