This graduated nd filter from cavision helps balance exposure in high contrast scenes by neutralizing the difference between a dark foreground and a bright sky.
Half of the filter has a two stop, 0.6 neutral density area while the other half is clear, with a medium soft edged transition for a natural appearance when photographing uneven horizon lines. The filter is constructed from 4mm thick optical glass and measures 6 x 6". It provides a two stop exposure reduction for bright regions of the image.
