This compact digital microscope offers handheld and stand-mounted operation. It includes a wide stand with a metal rod for adjusting and securing the working distance and horizontal position above samples. The base has two pre-loaded clips for holding slides or flat samples. The 5.0MP imaging sensor captures still images and videos, while an 8-LED illumination ring provides bright and clear high-resolution images and 30 fps videos. It is optimized for 3D examination of larger objects and can be used to study miniature artifacts with magnification up to 800x on select monitors. The device has a wide angle of view, unlimited focusing distance starting from 0.4" (10mm), and an integrated USB cord shutter control.
