Comnet CL-SFP3 Ethernet Range-Extending SFP Copper Module 100 Mbps

The Comnet CL-SFP3 is a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) Ethernet extender module that supports 100 Mbps data rates on copper cables. It enables network extension over existing 2-wire twisted pair or coaxial cable, reducing the need to install new fiber optic lines.

This module plugs directly into any 100BASE-FX unit with an MSA-compliant SFP port. When paired on both ends of a connection, it extends the reach of Ethernet networks up to 3,000 feet (914 meters) over Cat 5 or higher twisted-pair cable. With optional CLRJ2COAX adapters, the range increases to 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) over coaxial cable.
