The Comnet CLFE4+2SMSC is a six-port Ethernet switch offering 10/100 Mbps speeds. It features four RJ-45 ports for copper Ethernet connections and two extended distance ports compatible with UTP or Coax CopperLine®. This switch supports add, drop, and repeat functions, making it useful for extending network signals without programming.
This unit is pre-programmed to prevent video flooding and can be set up via DIP switches as an uplink unmanaged switch. It meets IEEE 802.3 standards and includes voltage transient protection on all input/output lines to guard against surges and other electrical events.
The compact ComFit form factor allows installation in a rack or as a standalone device. The CLFE4+2SMSC complies with NEMA TS-1/TS-2 and Caltrans traffic control specifications, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments.
