The Comnet FXA2C1S1B is a 2-channel single mode 'B' end audio transceiver designed for balanced line-level audio transmission. It features bi-directional audio and contact closure over a single fiber using ST connectors. Digital encoding at 24-bit 96kHz sample rate ensures high-quality audio with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz and 600 ohm input impedance.
This unit supports distances up to 48 km (30 miles) on 9/125μm single mode fiber at wavelengths of 1550 nm or 1310 nm. The transceiver comes in the ComNet ComFit housing for flexible mounting options, including rack or surface mount installations. Setup is plug-and-play with no required optical or electrical adjustments.
