Comnet RLFDX232S2/48DC Substation-Rated TTL Logic Data Link/Repeater

The Comnet RLFDX232S2/48DC is a substation-rated TTL logic data link/repeater built for harsh industrial environments. It supports RS-232 serial links over single-mode fiber for distances up to 30 km, providing optical isolation to protect connected equipment from EMI and voltage transients common in substations and heavy manufacturing.

This model is fully compatible with the Garrettcom/Dymec 5843 units, allowing direct replacement without rewiring. It supports multiple configurations including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, loop, and bus topologies with DTE/DCE switching and a diagnostic test mode for connection verification.
