The Comnet RLMCSFP/HV media converter offers industrial-grade Ethernet conversion for harsh environments. Compliant with IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 Class 2, EN50155, and NEMA TS-1/TS-2 standards, it is suitable for electrical substations, heavy industry, and other locations with heavy electromagnetic interference and voltage surges.
This model supports 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds with a DIP-switch selectable 100BASE-FX or 1000BASE-FX SFP optical port. Ethernet ports provide auto-negotiation and automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover, eliminating manual configuration. Link fault pass-through is user-selectable to indicate network issues remotely or locally through a dry contact closure alarm.
