The Corning FREEDM One Tight-Buffered Cable is a plenum-rated, 6-strand multimode fiber optic cable (OM3). It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications including aerial, duct, buried, general purpose horizontal, and vertical riser installations.
This cable features a flame-retardant, UV-resistant jacket and 900 μm TIA-598 color-coded TBII buffered fibers which allow easy identification and straightforward termination without fan-out kits. Its small diameter and tight-buffered design enable installation in space-constrained areas.
Waterblocking technology prevents moisture intrusion in outdoor environments. The all-dielectric construction requires no grounding or bonding. Standard cable color is black with availability in 12 other colors for visual identification.
