The E-Image PM-500 Hypercardioid Shotgun Microphone is a back-electret condenser microphone with a 40 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response.
It runs on 48V phantom power and has a 3-pin XLR output connector. The microphone includes a switch for high-pass filtering and a bass roll-off attenuation switch to reduce low-end rumble. It is suitable for capturing broadcast-quality audio in studios or on location for video camera and boompole operators.
