The Eclipse Tools 200-013 is an 8-inch cable cutter forged for durability. Its high-leverage jaw design maintains cable shape during cuts, suitable for AWG 4 flexible copper and stranded aluminum cables. This tool is not intended for steel or ACSR cables.
Constructed from alloy steel, the body hardness is rated at 45°±3° HRC with a cutting edge hardness of 60°±5° HRC. The cutter has shear-cut blades and a plastic-coated handle for a secure grip.
Compact at 8.3 inches long, it fits easily into tool pouches and tight working spaces. The one-handed shearing action simplifies use in the field.
