Buck Boost Transformers

Buck boost transformers are used to adjust voltage levels in electrical systems. They are used for applications where voltage requirements to be increased or decreased slightly to match equipment requirements. Commonly, these transformers are found in control panels, lighting systems, and HVAC equipment.

Transformers like the Hammond QC50ERCB or the Eaton general purpose models provide reliable voltage regulation for single-phase and three-phase systems. They come in various sizes, from 0.05 kVA to 5 kVA, and feature encapsulated or non-encapsulated designs. Some models are sealed for outdoor or harsh environments, while others are suitable for indoor use. These transformers help ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely by maintaining proper voltage levels.
