The Electro-Harmonix PLATFORM is a stereo compressor/limiter pedal featuring a switchable overdrive section and an esoteric swell control.
It includes dynamic controls such as hard/soft knee selectors, variable ratios, variable thresholds, and continuously-variable attack and release knobs. The pedal also has a limiter switch and stereo operation for routing mono sources to mono destinations, splitting mono sounds to two outputs, or running in true stereo. It includes a power supply and is suitable for guitarists and keyboardists. The pedal features a dedicated footswitch for overdrive, volume, tone, and drive controls. The swell knob provides effects useful for country and American genres, allowing for note fade-in and tape-reversal effects.
