This adapter converts the V-mount battery plate of any RED DSMC2 V-Lock Expander Module to a lower height V-mount battery plate. It allows use of standard V-mount batteries with RED DSMC2 cameras and top handle accessory. The adapter mounts onto the V-mount without tools for installation or removal. The top of the adapter is flush with the camera and expander module, maintaining a low profile. It transmits voltage information to the camera for display in the viewfinder.
