The JBL CBT1000 is a two-way line array column loudspeaker featuring asymmetrical vertical coverage. This passive column array speaker is designed for professional audio applications. The CBT 1000 has a total passive power handling of 1000 W / 4000 W peak (100 hours) and 1500 W / 6000 W peak (2 hours). It features a nominal impedance of 8 ohms for the low-frequency driver and 4 ohms for the high-frequency driver. The speaker includes 6x 6.5" / 16.5 cm woofers with a 2" / 50.8 mm voice coil and neodymium magnet, along with 24x 1" / 25.4 mm tweeters with neodymium magnets.

The frequency response ranges from 45 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). The enclosure is sealed, and it does not include constant voltage or transformer taps. The maximum sound pressure level (SPL) is 137 dB (peak) and 134 dB (continuous), with a sensitivity of 102 dB. No equalization or filters are included.
