The ETS SM5-LE2 combines the SM1-LE2 omnidirectional microphone with the SM2 interface for a single zone audio setup. The SM1-LE2 features a 25-foot pickup range and a low-noise MOSFET pre-amplifier. It covers frequencies from 500Hz to 13kHz, with jumper-selectable hi-cut and low-cut filters that narrow the range to 900Hz - 6kHz to reduce ambient noise.
This microphone includes adjustable gain for two volume ranges and a 100-ohm unbalanced output. A three-position euro-style connector simplifies cable termination, and the internal peak limiter circuit responds within 0.5 seconds. Reverse polarity protection is built in.
The SM2 interface offers line-level (0db) output through standard RCA or 3.5mm jacks, allowing easy connection to DVRs or other devices. It operates on 12 VDC at 10mA with reverse polarity protection and features a clean LED power indicator. The assembly is housed in durable black ABS plastic.
