The ETS SM5-M2 Expanded Single Zone Audio Surveillance Kit includes two SM1 omnidirectional microphones and an SMM2 mixer/interface box. It combines audio from both microphones into a single unbalanced line level output, available as RCA or 3.5mm, suitable for connection to DVRs or IP camera line inputs.
The SM1 microphone features a 25-foot range with a frequency response from 200 Hz to 16 kHz. It uses a low noise MOSFET preamplifier with adjustable gain and a treble boost circuit that can be turned on or off to enhance audio clarity. An integrated limiter and a 3-position Euro-style connector simplify installation. The microphone mounts flush and fits standard single gang electrical boxes. It requires 12 VDC at 10 mA.
The SMM2 mixer manages volume independently for each microphone. It outputs line level audio through a standard 3.5mm jack and has a power LED indicator. Power input is 12 VDC at 20 mA with reverse polarity protection. Euro-style connectors provide clean, secure cable termination.
