The Ex-lock FM-26 180 is an explosion-proof electromagnetic lock with a holding force of 180 kg. It operates on 24 V and consumes 120 mA of current. This model does not include a position sensor.
Designed for harsh environments, the lock features an IP66/IP68 rating for protection against dust and moisture. It supports cable installation within a metal hose. The temperature range spans from -60 to +60 ˚C, making it suitable for extreme conditions.

Installed the Ex-lock FM-26 180 in a hazardous area where dust and moisture are concerns. The IP66/IP68 rating and metal hose cable option made the setup straightforward. It holds well at 180 kg and runs efficiently on 24 V. No position sensor included, but that was expected and doesn’t affect our application. Solid performance in extreme temperature ranges.

Installed the Ex-lock FM-26 180 in a high-humidity industrial area. The IP66/IP68 rating held up well against dust and moisture. The 24V operation and 120 mA current draw are consistent with product specs. The absence of a position sensor wasn’t an issue for our setup. Cable installation inside a metal hose was straightforward, which helped protect wiring in this harsh environment.
