Bug Wash

The Bug Wash is a ready-to-use cleaner formulated to quickly remove dried-on bug residue from vehicle surfaces with minimal scrubbing. Designed for fire apparatus, ambulances, police vehicles, utility trucks, RVs, and commercial fleets, this powerful formula makes routine cleaning fast and easy. Simply spray the product onto the affected area and wipe clean with a microfiber towel—no water required. This is especially useful in high-traffic environments where vehicles are frequently exposed to insect debris from roads, fields, or other outdoor settings.

Its pH-neutral, ammonia-free formula contains no solvents or acids, making it safe for use on painted surfaces, trim, decals, and light lenses without causing damage. Even stubborn insect remains can be removed with minimal effort, helping maintain a clean, professional appearance for emergency and fleet vehicles. The formula is designed to work effectively on a variety of materials commonly found on vehicles, including metal, plastic, and glass, ensuring that cleaning does not compromise the integrity of these components.

Ideal for public safety agencies, commercial fleets, and recreational vehicles, Shield Solutions Bug Wash provides a convenient, non-fuming solution for keeping vehicles clean both in the shop and in the field. For bug residue that has remained on the surface for an extended period, use with the Shield Solutions Telescoping Wash Brush for enhanced cleaning performance. This combination is particularly effective when dealing with heavy buildup that may be difficult to remove with a simple spray and wipe method.
