Spec SheetThe GENERAL CABLE 16/2C shielded cable features a stranded or solid bare copper conductor per ASTM B3, B8, and B286 standards. It is insulated with premium-grade, color-coded PVC and includes an overall Flexfoil® polyester supported aluminum foil shield with a stranded tinned copper drain wire. The gray PVC jacket is marked with sequential footage for easy installation and withstands temperatures from -20°C to +105°C.
This cable is suitable for power-limited control circuits and wiring applications such as intercom, security, audio, and background music systems. It is rated for 300 volts and complies with NEC Articles 725, 800, and 760, as well as UL standards. The cable is lead-free and designed for indoor use.
