The Godox V1-S is a versatile on-camera flash designed specifically for Sony cameras with a Multi-Interface Shoe. It features a round flash head with auto zoom covering full-frame focal lengths from 28 to 105 mm. The flash head offers extensive bounce and swivel capabilities, tilting from -7° to +120° vertically and rotating 330° horizontally, enabling flexible lighting angles. Exposure control supports Sony ADI and P-TTL modes for accurate automatic flash output. Wireless operation is enabled via radio transmission with TTL and manual modes, supporting distances up to 100 meters and allowing grouping across 32 channels and 4 groups. The unit is powered by a single rechargeable battery included in the package, delivering fast recycle times of approximately 1.5 seconds and flash durations ranging from 1/300 to 1/20000 seconds. Additional features include high-speed sync and second-curtain sync flash modes. The flash weighs 1.2 lb (530 g) with battery and measures 3 x 7.8 x 3.7 inches (76 x 197 x 93 mm). It does not support external power packs and includes a 2.5 mm off-camera terminal for wired triggering.
