The HID Signo 40 Wall Mount Reader is designed for access control and multi-factor authentication. It supports 125 kHz HID proximity cards and MI credentials. The reader is compatible with various 13.56 MHz credentials including Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS SR, iCLASS, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2, FeliCa, CEPAS, Mobile Credentials via HID Mobile Access, and 125 kHz credentials such as HID Proximity, Indala Proximity, AWID Proximity, and EM Proximity. The read range for 13.56 MHz is 1.6 to 4" / 4 to 10 cm, while for 125 kHz it is 2.4 to 4" / 6 to 10 cm. Other I/O features include a tri-color LED, buzzer, hold at active low output, tamper relay, and dry contact. Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth. The device is compatible with Android and iOS through the HID Mobile Access app. Communication options include Wiegand, clock-and-data, and RS-485 half duplex (OSDP). The power source is DC input at 12 VDC with an operating current of 250 mA (maximum), 75 mA (typical), and 65 mA (standby). Mounting options include multiple wall, surface, and single-gang box. The color options are black and silver, with a polycarbonate material of construction.
