The PROTECH VST-14 Quick Release Tripod Base Plate from IDX System Technology features die-cast aluminum construction and is compatible with the VCT-U14 mounting system.
It includes 11 tripod mount threads, comprising 6 x 1/4"-20 and 5 x 3/8"-16, allowing for optimal balance with your camera. The plate has a spring-loaded release latch with safety operation. Mounting involves sliding the camera onto the plate until it engages, then pulling back to secure. Releasing requires pressing the red safety-release button and pulling the handle away from the plate.
