IK Multimedia T-Racks Tape Machine 440

The IK Multimedia Tape Machine 440 is a downloadable plug-in that emulates the sound of an Iconic Ampex Tape Machine. This software uses dynamic convolution and physical modeling to capture the warmth, low-end character, high-sheen, and glue-like qualities of the Ampex AG440B stereo recorder. The unit offers a true signal stereo path as well, complete with all the beloved imperfections between the left and right channels that give you a more well-defined sound. It also models four types of tape, each of which alters the sound. The software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will work in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats.
