The Insteon Micro Dimmer Switch Module is designed for installation in a fixture box to enable remote control of customizable dimming without running wires into a wall switch. It can also be wired directly into an existing mechanical wall switch to convert it into a smart switch while retaining its original design. The module supports latching, single-momentary, and dual-momentary switches through sense wiring. Operation is possible via the 915 MHz wireless frequency without requiring a hub, app, or Wi-Fi. It can be used with the HUB 2 Central Controller and a Connected Home Access subscription for additional features like mobile app control, scheduling, scene creation, voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and integration with other Insteon devices.
