The iOptron HEM44 GoTo Telescope Mount H442 is a lightweight, compact, medium-payload telescope mount designed for ease of use. It features no need for counterweights and includes strain wave drive for RA worm/belt drive for declination. The mount supports alt-azimuth and german equatorial configurations. With go-to capability, it allows for precise tracking of celestial objects. The included mounting options allow for attachment to a tripod or base using dual losmandy-/vixen-type saddles.
Wireless functionality is available, along with rs-232/rs-422 and mini-usb inputs/outputs. It has a payload capacity of 44 lb / 20 kg and operates within latitude adjustments of 15 to 65°. The mount weighs 13.65 lb / 6.19 kg and is suitable for operating conditions ranging from -4 to 104°F / -20 to 40°C.
