The Kawai VPC1 is a USB/MIDI controller that offers a real grand piano keyboard experience. It features 88 weighted keys with a wooden-key action and let-off simulation. The controller includes a three-pedal unit for damper, soft, and sostenuto pedal control. It connects to a PC or Mac via USB and provides MIDI in and out ports for external devices. The keyboard has five built-in touch curves approved by software developers and allows customization with the included editor software. The controller has no knobs, buttons, or faders, just 88 real wooden keys and a wide surface for a laptop, mouse, or synthesizer.
