The Keyscan CA4500 is a 4-reader access control panel built to integrate with other units within the Keyscan family, including 1, 2, 8 reader panels and Elevator Floor Access Control systems. This flexibility allows system designs to be tailored with mixed panels to meet specific installation needs.
The panel features network appliance-based architecture and supports Wiegand protocol configurations for reader connectivity. Dual multi-threaded processors maintain full operation even during system downloads, while status LEDs assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Communication options include TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Internet, and RS485
- Includes CA4500B PC109X main board, OCB8 (PC110X) relay board, DPS-15 power supply, and black metal enclosure
- System requires two 16 V AC transformers (37 or 40 VA) and one 12 V 7Ah battery
- Supports up to 32,000 cards, 4 card readers/keypads, 4 auxiliary outputs, and 16 auxiliary inputs
