Featuring a network appliance architecture, the CA8500 is compatible with Wiegand protocol readers. Dual multi-threaded processors maintain full panel operation during system downloads. Communication options include TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Internet, and RS485.
The panel kit includes 1 CA8500B PC109X main board, 2 OCB8 (PC110X) relay boards, a DPS-15 power supply, and a black metal enclosure. It requires two 16 V AC 37 or 40 VA transformers plus one 12 V 7Ah battery. The system stores up to 32,000 cards and supports 8 card readers or keypads with 8 auxiliary outputs and 16 auxiliary inputs.
