KEYSCAN WIEEX2 Wiegand Communications Line Extender

The KEYSCAN WIEEX2 extends Wiegand communication lines by converting Wiegand signals to RS-485 and back to Wiegand. It comes with two modules, one designated for the reader side and the other for the Access Control Unit (ACU).

This unit supports transmission distances up to 4000 feet using just two wires, such as Cat5 cable. It operates on 12 V DC and requires 50 mA per module.

Compatible with Present3 systems, the extender supports Wiegand formats from 26 to 80 bits and baud rates of 9600 and 19200.
