The Klein Tools Coaxial Cable Cutter CCS features a multi-functional blade optimized for cutting copper-clad steel (CCS) coaxial cables and other common wires or cables. It has two distinct cutting areas to handle different cable types, reducing the need for multiple tools.
Constructed from custom, US-made steel and through-hardened, the notched blade is engineered to withstand steel cable cutting. The notched section is specifically designed to easily cut common CCS coaxial cables such as RG-59, RG-6/6Q, RG-7, and RG-11. The shears blade section provides clean cuts for solid and stranded copper, aluminum, and UTP/STP twisted pair wires and cables.
Blade geometry ensures that CCS coaxial cables retain their form after cutting, facilitating easy insertion into connectors and ensuring excellent terminations. The high-leverage handles allow for genuine one-handed operation, and the plastic coating on the handles offers maximum comfort and grip.
