The Klover KMEQ is an omnidirectional lavalier condenser microphone with an electronic circuit that equalizes the microphone to match the acoustic characteristics of the Klover MiK 09 parabolic collector.
This circuit is housed within the 3-pin XLR connector, allowing the microphone to achieve a deeper, more natural timbre when used with Klover's parabolic mic configurations. The capsule is water resistant and was custom made for Klover by Countryman Associates. The microphone has a 24 dB (A-Weighted) equivalent noise level.
