Spec SheetThe KNIPEX High Leverage CoBolt Cutters are engineered for superior cutting performance with 60% less effort compared to traditional high leverage diagonal cutters. The lever-action mechanism ensures an extremely favorable lever ratio with minimal friction, resulting in about 20 times the cutting force of hand pressure.
Features include induction hardened edges with approximately 64 HRC, capable of cutting soft, hard, and piano wire, as well as materials like bolts, nails, and rivets up to 5/32 inch diameter. The notched blade design facilitates easier cutting of thicker wires, such as anchor bolts in false ceilings. A recess in the blade allows for easier cutting of thicker wires without slipping, and a gripping surface below the joint enables gripping and pulling wires from 3/64 inch diameter.
Constructed from chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel, forged and multi-stage oil-hardened, with a black atramentized surface finish and a plastic-coated handle for durability and comfort.
