The Linear 620-101251 IRB-MON is a monitored through-beam infrared photo eye designed for security detection at doors, gates, and barriers. It provides entrapment protection and meets UL325 safety standards.

This device features a rugged NEMA 4X weatherproof enclosure suitable for outdoor use. The universal design supports operators requiring frequency (heartbeat) monitored operation as well as those using relay connections.

Monitored units use a heartbeat signal to confirm connection integrity, while non-monitored versions offer a set of form C relay contacts.
