The Magewell Pro Capture Mini HDMI with Large Heat Sink is a single-channel HDMI capture card that supports video resolution up to 2048 x 2048. This device features a PCIe Gen2 1.2 interface and includes a JST SHD 20-Pin Connector with an HDMI adapter. It is compatible with various operating systems including Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 (x86 and x64) and Linux (based on V4L2, supporting x86, x64 and Arm Architecture).
The device supports HDMI 1.4a with up to 1080p60 resolution, 36-bit deep color video, LPCM audio, and 225 MHz HDMI receiver. It also includes adaptive HDMI equalizer support for cable lengths up to 98' / 30 m, customized EDID extraction, and supports various display formats including resolutions up to 1080p60 and frame rates up to 120 fps. The device is compatible with Windows APIs such as DirectShow, DirectKS, Wave API/DirectSound/WASAPI and Linux APIs such as V4L2, ALSA.
It also supports software like VLC, VirtualDub, OBS, xSplit, vMix, VidBlaster, Wirecast, Microsoft Media Encoder, Adobe Flash Media Encoder, and any other DirectShow/V4L2 encoding/ streaming software. The device has a latency of 64 video lines partial notification mode in SDK and hardware-based 100 ns high-resolution clock for audio frames (192 audio samples) and video frames. It also includes hardware clock synchronization across cards via SDK.
The device supports 400 MB/s per channel DMA bandwidth in PCIe 2.0 system, 200 MB/s per channel DMA bandwidth in PCIe 1.0 system, auto detection of Intel tiled GPU surface, directgma for AMD video adapter chipsets, and gpudirect for NVIDIA video adapters. The maximum current at 3.3 V is 1.2 A with a max power consumption of 4 W. The operating temperature range is 32 to 104°F / 0 to 40°C.
