The Magewell Pro Convert SDI 4K Plus is a device designed for converting 4K SDI video to NDI stream. It features a single SDI input and a single SDI loop-through output. The unit includes a BNC (6G-SDI) female connector for video inputs and another BNC (6G-SDI) female connector for video outputs. Additional ports include an RJ45 LAN, NDI, PoE input/output, a Mini-DIN 8-Pin PTZ, tally, USB-B ECM, RNDIS input, and shared power USB-B.
The device supports SDI (10/12-bit 4:4:4/4:2:2 RGB, YCC) DCI 4K at 30 fps, 1080p 50/59.94/60 fps, and 1080i 50/59.94/60 fps for input video formats. Output video format supports SDI (10/12-bit) DCI 4K at 60 fps. The device includes embedded audio via LAN (RJ45)/SDI with 16-channel support. It complies with SMPTE 259M/292M/425M/ST-2081 and ITU -R BT.601/BT.709/BT.2020 video standards. The unit does not include HDCP support, manual EDID control, HDR support, or a media card reader.
