How to buy on Safsale Marketplace

This guide walks through the complete buying process: finding equipment, checking the listing, creating an account, paying securely, tracking the shipment and confirming delivery.

Start at the Marketplace

Open Safsale Marketplace and use the equipment categories to narrow the listings. Categories include security cameras, video recorders, access control, networking, cables, electrical and industrial equipment.

Choose the closest equipment category. Review the listing title and manufacturer. Open the listing before making a buying decision.

Read the listing carefully

Before checkout, verify that the listing matches what you actually need. Part numbers and equipment variants can look similar while being technically different.

Manufacturer and exact part number. Condition: New, Used, Refurbished or Open Box. Available quantity. Seller location. Shipping or pickup information. Photos and description.

Create or sign in to your Safsale account

A Marketplace order must be connected to an account so the order, shipment and delivery status can be tracked.

Use a real email address you can access. Complete email verification when requested. Keep your account information current. Sign in before continuing to checkout.

Complete secure checkout

Confirm the item, quantity, shipping details and final order amount before payment. Marketplace checkout uses the secure payment workflow connected to Safsale.

Verify the listing one final time. Confirm the delivery address. Review the total shown at checkout. Complete the secure payment process. Wait for the Marketplace order confirmation.

Do not send payment directly to a seller outside the Safsale Marketplace checkout flow.

Follow fulfillment and tracking

After the seller accepts the order and ships the item, shipment information and tracking become part of the Marketplace order workflow.

Order placed. Seller confirms the order. Seller ships the equipment. Tracking information is entered. Buyer monitors delivery progress.

Receive and inspect the shipment

When the package arrives, inspect it promptly and compare the delivered equipment with the Marketplace listing and your order.

Check the package for visible shipping damage. Confirm the item and quantity. Keep packaging until the order is fully resolved. Use the Marketplace order record if an issue must be documented.
