The Matrox Maevex H.264 Encoder & Decoder MVX-ED5150F is designed for streaming camera feeds over IP, extending or recording video. It supports a range of video inputs and outputs including HDMI with digital L-PCM audio, HD15, Analog VGA ProCamp control, and scaled output. The device also features 3.5 mm analog stereo audio line in and out. Network connections include RJ45 ports for both encoder and decoder. Supported input/output resolutions go up to 1920x1080p60 and 1920x1200 (60 Hz).
Video encoding and decoding capabilities include H.264/MPEG4 Part 10 (AVC) compression with various profiles and bit rates. Audio encoding supports MPEG4 AAC-LC with stereo channels and specific sample frequencies. Networking interface includes 100/1000base-T Ethernet support for streaming protocols and command & control protocols. The device is compatible with multiple operating systems including Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, and Windows 7.
Power supply is 100-240 V AC with a 5 VDC output.
