The MIDI Solutions MultiVoltage M8 is an 8-input 2-output active MIDI merger designed for rackmount use. It combines all MIDI messages from 8 inputs to two outputs, supporting System Exclusive, MIDI Clock, and MIDI Time Code messages. The unit processes MIDI data with a fast algorithm to minimize delay. It operates on MIDI power without requiring a separate power supply or batteries. An LED indicator shows when the device is powered and flashes when data passes through it. The M8 is compatible with both 5V and 3.3V MIDI specifications.
