The MOTU 828 USB-C Audio/MIDI Interface is designed for musicians, creators, and podcasters. It features AC power and USB 3.1 connectivity. The device includes 28 inputs and 32 outputs, with a maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz / 24-Bit. There are two microphone inputs, along with various analog and digital audio I/O options. The interface supports TOSLINK Optical ADAT Input and Output, as well as RCA Coaxial S/PDIF Input and Output.
It connects via USB-C (Class-Compliant) and requires AC input for power. The unit includes a 3.9" color TFT display and built-in DSP. There is no built-in microphone, and two knobs are provided for input level adjustment. The device also features a mic/line/hi-z pad of -20 dB, which is switchable per channel.
