The MXL 990/991 Recording Microphone Package includes the 990 Cardioid Condenser Vocal Mic and the 991 Condenser Instrument Mi. The 990 is a pressure gradient condenser microphone with a 6-micron gold-sputtered diaphragm, offering a frequency response of 30 Hz to 20 kHz. It has a sensitivity of 15 mV/Pa, an impedance of 200 Ohms, and an equivalent noise level of 20 dB (A-Weighted IEC 268-4). The signal to noise ratio is 80 dB (Ref.
1Pa A-Weighted), with a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB. It requires phantom power 48V (±4 V) and consumes less than 3.0 mA. The dimensions are 2.36 x 5.11" / 5.99 x 12.98 cm.
