The MXL Revelation II Variable-Pattern Tube Microphone features a large diaphragm / tube design with cardioid, figure-8, and omnidirectional polar patterns. It includes low cut/HPF, pad, and polar pattern controls. The frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a maximum SPL of 138 dB. The microphone provides an analog output of 1x XLR 7-Pin Male (on mic) and 1x XLR 3-Pin Male (on power supply). It requires an external power supply and operates in mono sound field.
The diaphragm thickness is 0.2 mil / 6 microm. The microphone is side address oriented with a -10 dB pad.
