The Osprey SDAD-4 USB Powered Equalized SDI Distribution Amplifier is designed for professional video distribution. It complies with SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292, SMPTE 344M, SMPTE 424M, and DVB-ASI standards. The device features a single 3G / HD / SD SDI input along with DVB-ASI and embedded audio support. It provides four 3G / HD / SD SDI outputs and DVB-ASI with embedded audio. The amplifier includes cable equalization for 100 m at 3G resolution, 200 m at HD, and 400 m at SD resolution (Belden 1694A).
It has LED indicators for power and signal lock, a mini B USB DC power connector, and operates on 5 VDC @ 1.8 W approx. (all outputs enabled). The dimensions are 3.82 x 0.87 x 2.75" (97 x 22 x 70 mm) with a package weight of 0.6 lb.
