DESIGN INTENT

What this paging / notification design is meant to do

Eight-channel 70/100V amplifier reference for segmented high-power paging.

The bill of materials below links to actual Safsale catalog products. Use the design as a purchasing baseline, then adjust endpoint count, speaker tap settings, zone routing, amplifier or PoE capacity, cable topology, acoustic coverage and backup requirements for the real property.

Acoustic checkpoint: speaker count and amplifier watts alone do not guarantee useful coverage. Background noise, mounting height, room absorption/reverberation, speaker directivity and required speech intelligibility materially affect the final layout.

FAQ

MNS-TMULTI questions

What is included in MNS-TMULTI?

The reference BOM uses live Safsale product cards for the paging or notification source, amplifier/server, speaker or visual endpoints, network/cabling and optional backup-power items shown on the page.

How should amplifier power be sized?

For distributed 70V/100V systems, add the selected transformer tap wattage of every speaker on the amplifier channel, then add design headroom. Use the Safsale 70V Speaker Load & Amplifier Calculator as a first pass.

How do I size PoE for IP speakers and strobes?

Count each powered endpoint, use its maximum PoE draw or IEEE class, and confirm both total switch PoE budget and per-port capability. Use the IP Paging PoE Planner or general PoE Budget Calculator.

Does this page prove emergency-notification compliance?

No. If the system will be used for emergency or life-safety notification, the actual project must verify audibility/intelligibility, visual coverage, supervision, pathway survivability where required, backup power, listings, sequence of operation and applicable AHJ/project requirements.

How can I estimate sound level at distance?

Use the Sound Pressure at Distance calculator for a free-field attenuation estimate, then confirm the actual design for room acoustics, background noise, speaker directivity and mounting conditions.
