The RCF KX-08A is a high-performance active 2-way point-source speaker designed for touring and installed applications. This 2000W peak active loudspeaker features a 1x 8" / 20.3 cm woofer with a 2.5" / 63.5 mm voice coil and neodymium magnet, paired with a 1x 1" / 25.4 mm horn-loaded titanium dome compression driver with a 1.75" / 4.45 cm voice coil. The speaker has a frequency response of 65 Hz to 20 kHz and is housed in a bass-reflex enclosure.
It delivers 1400 W peak power for low frequencies and 600 W peak power for mid frequencies, with a Class-D amplifier. The speaker can produce up to 128 dB of maximum sound pressure level and has a coverage angle of 90° H x 710° V. It includes protection against excursion, RMS, and thermal overload.
