Professional-grade audio sender/receiver utilizing RDL Format-A two-pair twisted pair transmission with balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs.
The RDL FP-TPSR4A is a Format-A two-pair audio sender/receiver designed for reliable transmission of stereo audio signals over twisted pair cabling. It features three inputs including two 20 kΩ unbalanced inputs (left and right) via phono jacks and one 100 kΩ balanced mono amplified input via mini-jack. The unit supports Format-A signal pairs B and C for twisted pair transmission through RJ45 connectors. On the output side, it provides RDL TP Format-A output and dual RCA phono stereo outputs with 100 Ω unbalanced impedance. The device delivers a wide frequency response from 10 Hz to 50 kHz on input and 10 Hz to 40 kHz on output with low distortion (THD + N <0.05% input, <0.005% output) and excellent noise and crosstalk performance. It includes power indicators and requires 24 VDC at 35 mA with a maximum load current of 500 mA. Compact dimensions and lightweight design make it suitable for professional audio installations requiring high fidelity audio transmission over twisted pair wiring.
