The RDL ST-VP2 Automatic Ducking Module is designed to lower music for announcements. This module operates fully automatically with voiceover functionality. It features a plastic and metal construction with a black finish. The input includes two balanced line level (or unbalanced) inputs with an input impedance of 20KΩ and a signal range of -20 dBu to +18 dBu. The output is 0dBu balanced into 600Ω. Gain is adjustable via a multi-turn potentiometer.
The module has a THD & Noise of < 0.02% (20Hz to 20kHz, no compression) and a frequency response of 25Hz to 20kHz (+/- 1dB). Noise levels are below -70dB. It includes one LED for proper music level and one LED for proper voice level. AGC action provides an 18dB range with 6dB compression at normal input level. Attack time is 25 ms and release time is 2.5 seconds.
