It features a preamplifier accessory type with input and output levels set to mic level. The unit includes one channel with gain adjustable between +15.0 and +30 dB. It offers impedance and input level/gain controls. There is 1x XLR 3-Pin Female Balanced Mic Input and 1x XLR 3-Pin Male Balanced Mic Output.

The device operates on 48 V (Phantom Power) and uses a Class-A FET circuit type. It has no indicators and a frequency response of 10 Hz to 120 kHz. The impedance is 135 Ohms with a recommended load impedance of 1 Kilohm.
